I have exercised my whole life - from aerobics to yoga and now Pilates. I have to say that Pilates is my very favourite as I feel it strengthens , tones and stretches my limbs and body as opposed to adding bulk. It also helps greatly with my posture as I do have a tendency to 'slouch'.

I would also like to say that Jeanette really is a superb teacher as she is so very good at her step by step instructions when holding her class. She has many levels within the class and offers options for all levels. I so look forward to my weekly Pilates session and only wish I was able to do more!

I have been doing Pilates classes for about 8 years now and have found that it helps to keep my back in reasonable shape. I suffer with scoliosis and find that the exercises keep me a little more supple.
Jeanette is a very thoughtful teacher who makes you feel that you have an individual tutor as she pays attention to everyone in the class. Jeanette explains the exercise well and will always give an alternative if you have any injury or limitation.
The classes are suitable for all abilities and ages and there are several men who attend the class.

I started Pilates because my main hobby is riding and competing horses, and I felt my core muscles were not as strong as they should be. I joined Jeanette’s class at Hoveringham earlier this year and have found Jeanette to be an excellent teacher. She explains everything very clearly, gives us a good variety of exercises to do, and everyone seems to enjoy it regardless of their age or ability. It is definitely helping me to improve my cores strength as well as my general fitness and flexibility and I would thoroughly recommend her classes to anyone who might be interested whether they are a total beginner or experienced in Pilates.

I've done Pilates for 11 years now with different instructors and over the last 6 with Jeanette. I've always found her to be very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. The large number of regulars at her class is a testimony to that.

The benefits from the exercises are clear for me and provide a good balance of flexibility and strength with every exercise having degrees of difficulty for the beginner or the more experienced, everyone can work at their own level.

I have been attending Jeanette’s Pilates class for over 6 years now and can honestly say it is my favourite time of the week. I not only get some ‘me time’ but feel I get a good work out with the variety of exercise she gets us to do. It has aided me over the years with weight loss and maintaining my loss. It also helps me sleep better on the nights I have been to class.
Jeanette is very good at explaining and demonstrating the exercises we do, also reminding us to breathe (easily forgotten when concentrating). She will correct our posture and ensure we are getting the best out of the class.
I suffer with Carpel Tunnel Syndrome and Tennis Elbow and Jeanette has made sure I get different exercises that will aid my recovery and not make it worse.
What else can I say except please do not stop teaching Jeanette as I do not know what I would do if I didn’t have my weekly dose of Pilates

I have been attending Jeanette’s evening classes for about 18 months now. As an older but still quite fit (for my age) cyclist, I find the Pilates exercise programme complimentary to my sport. I also find I have improved suppleness and a more balanced body.
Jeanette has a structured approach to Pilates and each exercise is clearly explained and demonstrated through all the different levels, allowing the individual to push themselves as hard as they feel comfortable with.
The classes are varied with a differing set of exercise each week. I find some easier than others, so you never feel like you are just ‘going through the motions’.
